Exercises on Adverb Clause of Similarity vs. Comparison vs. Manner

In each sentence in the following exercises, first identify the adverb clause and then identify it as adverb clause of similarity, comparison, or manner. Note that an adverb clause can simultaneously be up to two of the three clauses. Here is a sample question answered for you:

Q. She danced like a beginner at her first recital.

A. adverb clause of similarity and manner: like a beginner at her first recital
